Questions for those who bough DMF7 from Corel Australia

Post by harhash »

for those who bought dmf7pro from Australia I have a few questions:
-What languages dose the program comes with?
-What's the size of the download?
-are you supplied with a link for the rest of the contents?
Thanks very much for your help as I'm planning to purchase from Australia rather than waiting for the US version....

When I installed MF7 Pro it had the usual installation questions
Select your location and select your Video Format (NTFS/PAL)

Your best bet is to download a 30 day trial copy.

Harhash,
I purchased the Australian version in August. I found a link that showed MovieFactory 7 Pro & was identified as a Corel US store. The purchase went through fine & I was provided a link to the software.
The software is in English.
The file I received a link to was 280 Mb.
I was not supplied a link the rest of the software.

Some folks on this forum helped me by giving me the file names of the remaining links & I was successful at downloading the remaining 3 files.
1 at 103 Mb
A 2nd at 270Mb
& a 3rd at 524 Mb.

I felt blessed to get the rest of the links to the software. I would suggest you wait until the US version is available. My software is listed on the ULead / Corel web site as "Asia" Only time will tell if this is a problem for me later on, upgrades, service, etc.

Hope this helps.

I just bought MF7 Pro and made my purchase from the Singapore site as it was over A$20 cheaper. We get ripped off in Australia all the time with software. For instance the extended download from Singapore S$7.90 in Australia A$15.50. Take in to account the exchange rate and the Singapore price equals only A$6.16 a saving of $9.34. The saving on the program was great too

I purchased DVD Movie Factory 7 Pro from Corel Australia today and it came with all four downloads. The purchase was easy and I am not sure why it is not listed on the US site. Anyway, I am happy to have it. Thanks Corel!

That is excellent news. Perhaps if enough people follow your example Corel will realise they ought to be selling this version on their other sites.
