Movie Factory Suite Ver3.5, are updates possible?

I recently got a Pioneer DVD drive that came bundled with the Movie Factory DVD suite ver3.5. It has MF3.5 and VS8 SE.

First off, what the deal with MF3.5 when the the Ulead product sheet shows latest revision at ver3 ??

Also when I tried to update the VS8 and MF3.5 with the latest updates it said I did not have them installed so it could not do the update??? Are my versions dead-end and can not be updated with the latest patches? If I register the products will it then let me do the update??

So far as I know, DVDMF 3.5 Suite is only a version for burner packages, so it will not be sold on the web site. It's the current latest version of DVDMF.

The patches that DVDMF 3.5 needs are Ulead CD/DVD Engine Patch and the 16X DVD Burning Patch.

For DVDMF 3.0, if you install all the patches, it will have all the fixes in DVDMF 3.5.

I also installed all official patches and went from 3.0 to 3.5. The biggest difference: You can now burn projects on Double-Layer DVDs (if your burner allows to do so).
