Joining video clips

Post by Rollason »

I have previously posted regarding joining clips together. I understand that clips can be moved and placed where required in the timeline but should I want to move a number of clips in a block to a new place on the timeline is there some way in which I can join two or more clips together and then move them as a block or carry out some other operation on those connected clips at the same time?
I have looked through the tutorials but can find nothing relevant.
Many thanks for any comments.

Select one of the clips you want to move by clicking on it.
Click on each of the other clips while holding down the shift key.
Drag the block of clips to the new position.

Thanks Tom.
I tried that and it didn't work. Must be finger trouble. I'll give it another go. Many thanks for your fast reply.
