Hi guys!
I am new in the line of Video editing! I was using VideoStudio 10 for editing my home videos. Recently I started using Corel VideoStudio X2 but realised that this versions lacks a lot of transitions that v.10 includes.
Can some one please guide me as to how van I add those transitions to my newer version.
Thank you.

Did you forget to install the content files for VS Pro? I find that it has about the same amount as VS10 or 11. Are you using any third party transitions, such as Burgers or Boris? If so follow the instructions provided by the third party software to either copy the appropriate *.vfx files to the vfx_plug folder of VS Pro, or reinstall them..

Where can I find the content pack. After installing X2, the album transition has completely disappeared. Moreover, the Mask category has only 2 effects where as in the old version there were quite a few.
BTW, can Boris FX & Hollywood FX be used with Videosyudio X2?

Did you purchase X2 or are you using the trial version? Trial versions come with limited sample clips and templates, to save on download size.
If you purchased, did you purchase the electronic or box version? If electronic you should have received a separate file for the extra content, if the box it is on disc.

As of now, I am using the trial version to see if the new version suits me. So is it not possible to install the content pack on the trial version. If yes, where can I get the same?

No it is not possible to install the content pack to a trial version. If it were possible then you would not have a trial version, but a full version...

What about Hollywood FX & Boris FX... Can they be used with trial version...

I suppose they could, as the trial version of VS is fully functional.

I installed Boris FX but in the installation process it asked which softwares do I want to integrate it with. Unfortunately VS wasnt included in that. Anyways, I choosed all and installed it. But when I started VS after that, there is no sign of Boris FX there... Am I doing some thing wrong.

No probably not doing anything wrong. I think BorisFX dropped Ulead/Corel products from their supported hosts.

I use both CanopusFX and Adorage transitions (and effects) and they operate as they did in earlier versions of VS. I also recall Steve Jones (sjj1805) saying Hollywood works with X2 as well...

Burger not working for me, nor is Canopus Videfx, Pixelan, or VFX plug. I have always been able to copy these from prior versions. This time it's not working. They show up in menu, but if selected, screen jumps to 'titles'. This is extremely disappointing!
