I am considering buying a Sony HDRSR 12 hard drive high definition video camera. Has anyone got one and are they compatible with using Corel Pro 2 software? Thanks.

Do bear in mind that the Sony records to the AVCHD format, so you need a very powerful pc to edit the footage.

The alternative for people with lesser pc's is an HD camcorder using the HDV format, essentially high definition mpeg2 which is much easier to edit.
