Introduction

Hi Everyone, I live in Broadstairs in Kent.
I posted last week to get in under the 24 hrs deadline and seem to have got into the "other" forum instead of this one. I don't appear to be alone!
Let's see where this one finishes up as the deadline was last week.
I did quite a lot of photography, kitchen darkroom, local camera club, that sort of thing, for a number of years and thought I'd have a crack at video about 10 years ago.
I was using an Apple Mac at that time and started off with Final Cut Pro which was great while it lasted. I then had to change over to PC and looked around for a programme with which I was compatible. I tried Pinnacle but couldn't get on with it and, with a new computer, I got a copy of VS 5 and tried that. Then I saw Media Studio at a trade show in London. The salesman made it sound great!!! Never trust a salesman!
I plugged away at it but kept running into problems and going off it in frustration for about 6months at a time. Eventually I decided to give Video Studio a try as I liked the Media system and it's potential. Since then I've had 10, and have just upgraded to Pro X2 which I believe is also called 12. I'm having great fun and looking forward to many happy hours in the future, thanks to the able assistance of the Moderators.
