Vista X64 WINDVD 9 MFC Application ErroR again!!

Post by kabster »

HI,

This is getting rEALY frustrating... :x

After reading multiple posts/threads/whole pages everywhere and applying possible fixes/works arround, i still get that MFC error popup !!?

But unlike whit other poeple , i get the error ONLY when i close down windvd 9 !!?

So, i wos like ill ignore this litle problem for now. But, next day windvd 9 wouldnt even start at ALL !!?

Why on Earth did i play before whitout any problems (except for the mfc error when closing down windvd9)

Oh, and before i forget..
Because of a "create overlay failed" message ive noticed i suspect WinDVD disabled some of my DXfunctions

1. DirecDraw = disabled
2. AGP accelleration = disabled !!!!

I REALY hope theres a fix or at least an work arround in progress!!

Because this All2HD FEATURE Realy REAly looks promising :D

I am currently using the trial version !??

kabster,
By whom do you mean by "you people over there" ? Can you do something about those issues? If not then neither can we, as we are no different than you. We (Admin, Mods, and everyone else) here on the forums are just users just like yourself. No one here is employed by Corel. So us people over here, have no control over these bugs, quirks or incompatibilities. We just try to provide or find solutions to or workarounds for them. It is a very rare occasion that anyone from Corel visits the forums.

Look, whether you choose to accept it or not is immaterial, but we are not Corel Reps or employees. We were just selected to manage this web board because we have used their products for several years AND have been assisting others with the products via this web board. Corel just provides the server/web space for the web board. We must use the same methods of reporting bugs to Corel as you. Corel Customer Service

Sorry I don't use WinDVD often enough to be very knowledgeable about the intricacies of why it is not working correctly for me. For what I do use if for it serves my purpose.

Again it is not my products as I'm just a construction heavy equipment operator, not a computer programmer working for Corel. The other Admins happen to hold occupations such as Police Dispatcher and a retired barrister/ambassador.
