Reduced speed with "batch convert" ?

When I batch convert an AVCHD file to an uncompressed .AVI file (with X2), I get a reduced (half?) speed video when I playback in clip mode and the same when I playback with Windows media player. In preview mode playback in X2 it's OK ( at reduced resolution of course). Audio is OK but only part of the image scene is visialized with the reduced speeds. Normal?

You may have been the first to do this particular batch conversion, so I suspect that here will not be anyone who can say whether it is normal or not. As a matter of interest, though, why did you choose uncompressed .avi as the target format when it is so huge and unwieldy to manipulate?

I wanted to verify if the blips at the start and the end of a crossover edit of two short AVCHD files also existed when I batch converted the created video file to an uncompressed .avi file. I didn't go on with my test because of the strange speed behaviour.
