I have stumbled upon away to create a versatile freeze frame that does not seem to be described in the Pro X2 manuel.

Go to the desired frame
Open "CLIP" and save the frame as a still image
Drag the still to the time line.
A "Resampling Option" will appear allowing you to "fit to project size" for 16x9 format.
Action will now freeze and then resume in normal speed

It's not that much different to how I explained it in your other thread...

FWIW that's how I always do it.

I would STILL prefer to be able to simply set the "playback speed" to zero.

Funny, this was a right click feature in Media Studio Pro... too bad.
