Video: The Beauty and the Butcher

Post by Johnp »

Hi All

My name is John, from Liverpool, England.

I came into video editing because I'd written a screenplay for a short film and having been let down by a production company I decided to make the film myself.

I wanted to enter the film for a local festival and had to get it done by the end of September. Being new to editing, I found the ULead software was pretty straightforward to learn, and for what I couldn't work out, I found there was usually someone in the user group who had come up with a solution, from capturing through to creating DVD's and uploading to YouTube. Its a terrific group of helpful people.

I've had a look at some of the work other members have posted and I'm aspiring to get mine up to that level.

My little film is a comedy and its called Beauty and the Butcher. Being a newbie I'm not sure if this is the forum where you share examples of your work. If it isn't I'm sure someone will correct me. You can find the film here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fz0dxARMzUE
I'd be grateful for any feedback.

This without a doubt is one of the best and funniest home videos I have ever seen. Very professional. Well Done.
