With Vstudio 12 every time i load a previous project wiht divx files there is a vstudio.dat application error: Instuction on 0x14af1468 points to memory...... read/write on memory failure.
In this project there are different clips with codecs. Xvid, divx, dv etc clips. But in vstudio 11.5 there is no problem.
First i had the problem with loading divx files the error kmp-duplicate. But this error is gone thanks to this forum. But now this problem occurs.
When i load another project where there are only dv clips in it i do not get the error.
I have also tried to rename the divx file. I am using divx retail version 6.3.
Windowsxp pro SP2 and now sp3.

Can you go to Tools > Make Movie Manager, select New and choose AVI as the format. Give a name to the new template, and then Edit. On the Compression tab, see what formats appear in the drop-down menu. If your DivX 6.3 codec does not appear, but only DivX 5.1.1, then read http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 279#167279

Thx. Ken. I have done that now. When i again open the new wizard there is the divx 6. which wasn't there before.
It looks like i can open the project with divx now but it is awful slow when tr to edit....
