VS11 - Problem converting AVI to MPG

I have used VS11 for quite awhile, converting AVI files to mpg files, either by a single file (Share, then create video file, selecting NTSC MPEG2) or using the batch convert function. Now I am all of a sudden getting a ULead VideoStudio error message, then completely shuts down VS11...any help is greatly appreciated

And what sort of AVI are you talking about? There are over 800 different types of video which call themselves .avi. Please right click on one of them inside VS and copy all its properties here, please.
