Introduction

A quick introduction:

My real name is Petra, and I'm from southern Sweden. I'm a web designer and I use Corel PaintShopPro X2 daily at work - and quite often at home too. :D

I am 40 years old, married with two teenage girls. I've been a computer addict since the early eighties.

Atm, I work for a car firm, the second largest chain in Sweden. We sell cars, perform services and repair cars and trucks. We deal with VW, Skoda, Audi, SEAT and Porsche cars.

I work in the quality department, not the quality of the cars as that is up to each brand, but the quality of our work. My main occupation is building a new quality handbook online, on our intranet. It's a SharePoint site but I work in DreamWeaver CS3 and build the site externally to show up within the SharePoint interface. All my buttons and every image is made in PSPX2.

I also do all kinds of computer work in many different areas, like advanced PowerPoint presentations. That's another area where I use PSPX2 for images.

I've used PSP since PSP8 (or was it PSP7 even?), when it was still a Jasc product. The very first things I did was animated glitter names. They were used by members on a diary site. I did the animations in AnimationShop. I continued with other animations.

I learnt the basics and more in a Yahoo-group, Winni-PSP-group I believe it was called at the time. I soon advanced to a teacher there, and worked as such for a couple of years. I work a lot with tubes that I get from various tube groups, but I also learnt to tube myself.

Blending and making advanced pictures is somewhat a hobby of mine now. Topgirlz.eu is a great place for tutorials, which is a good way to learn all the possibilities within PSPX2. They also teach you the use of various PlugIns.

I see there are very few PSP users here in this forum, at least among the introductions. I still hope to take part in interesting discussions about PSP, and to be able to get help when/if I get stuck.
