Cool 3D

I am trying out this, looks great for what you can do with it. Nothing like it, so I'll probably buy it.

I have a problem, looked around here, looked through docs?
When I start a new project, like a lettered header, I write three or four words across it. They aren't all the same. Looks bent or something at each end. The middle is clear and crisp, each end isn't. Been trying all night to get even letters all the way across. How do you do that?

Thanks in advance.

Bruce,
To answer your question about why the text in not uniformally straight is because the letters are extruded, bordered, weighted and have depth. Another reason is that by default the camera view is placed directly in the center creating this perspective in 3D space. To make the letters/words uniform, select bevel>flat and change all values to 0. Precision value can be anywhere between 3 and 9. The higher the longer to render. Have fun.

That's exactly what I needed! Thank you!

It is cool to be able to do all this stuff, but I needed plain sometimes, and some style with plain, like gold or brassy text. That did it perfectly.

Thanks again, really appreciated!!!

Gotta buy this thing, can't live without it, won't live without it, I need it, I have to have it, I want it.....lol

Is there any way to move the camera so that the letters will not curve so much?

I desire to create a letterhead which appears 3D and having a flat bevel obviously will not do it for me.

It seems as though Cool3D is not the program for what I want. Am I correct?

Thank you,
