Hi, I'm new to this board but I have been using the Ulead GIF Animator 5 since last summer making signatures in another forum.

I have had a lot of good help just reading threads here but there is still one problem unsolved:

When I add banner text to signatures containing SWR there is a major stumble in the display.

So do I have to be satisfied with still text on my background when using SWR or is there a way around this?

You haven't really given enough info here, but I will guess that the "stumble" you are referring to is caused by the Frame Delay for the "key frame" in the banner text. By default, that is usually 50 (or whatever value you previously used), so at that frame, the animation will seem to lag or "stumble."

Try changing the Frame Delay to the same amount for all frames (likely 10). Just double-click the offending frame to bring up the frame properties, and set the delay value.
