How to make still image spin intermittently?

Post by Banji Abereoje »

Hi All,

In MSP8 pls, I want to put a still image (like logo) at the top left corner of my screen and to spin once in a while (like every 10 second), how do I get this done?

Also how do I remove the movement attached to Picture in Picture, esp. Centre option (in Moving Path)? I intended this to be a stationary object just at a corner of my screen: not to move at all.

Your response always appreciated.

This is all to do with keyframes. If you don't understand how keyframes work I suggest reading the manual to familiarise yourself with their operation.
For your repeating logo spinny thing, I would make a 10 second clip with the logo spinning right at the end of the clip, and then cut and paste this clip repeatedly on a nested sequence, and then insert this sequence as an overlay in the main sequence.

Hi, Troppo. I'm highly interested in this. Pls help me throw more light on how to go about it.

apply moving path (advanced) to your image. Resize and move image to corner. Copy values to all keyframes. move playhead to near the end and insert keyframe. move to final keyframe and adjust the rotation by 360 degrees.
