As for me I would like to prefer smooth playability of the original clips (mts,m2ts) rather Smart Proxy developing 
I received their response today. They told me to install Microsoft's August 2008 update for DirectX. I had already done that. I sent a followup question, so we'll see what they say next.dalemccl wrote: .....
I agree that this probably a bug in the software. However, it is possible that they designed it that way for a reason. I sent an e-mail to tech support yesterday asking why the proxy files aren't used when previewing individual clips. If they respond, I will post their response.
