Hello Steve,

The patch installer said "This upgrade patch can't apply to your version of WinDVD. Setup will now abort..."

So that your update patch is not workable, can you provide any soln'? I bought the software for more than 3 weeks, but never I can use it, why?

Ivan

Dear Sir,

You may get the MFC Application error if you have a corrupt, missing or old version of Microsoft Foundation Class library contents. To fix this problem, download the Service Pack 6 for Visual Basic 6.0: Run-Time Redistribution Pack (vbrun60sp6.exe) and install to update your MFC library. Download File:

Ivan.
This may take a while where we will need to work through a few possible cures until we hit the correct spot.

Could I firstly ask that you completely uninstall WinDVD from your computer
using the instructions found in this link:

Complete removal of WinDVD 9

Then please shut down and restart your computer and if possible disable any anti virus programs and any other "background programs" you may have running. Then install WinDVD 9.

After it has installed you will need to reboot the computer so that things like your anti virus program are once again working.
