Is there some way to get DMF-4 to play background music on menus for longer than the motion menu length setting? In other words, I have motion menus with 20 sec length, but my background song is a 3 min mp3. It will only play the mp3 until the 20 sec of video starts over. I have done other projects without motion menues where the entire song plays.
Thanks,
Dan

Ulead DVD Workshop 2 is a really nice product.
You can set a long song to play on the opening main menu.
I think about a max of almost 300+ seconds or so.
Set how many times you want it to loop, then automatically play
the 1st clip or whatever clip you assign to it.
The program has many advanced features.
Even when using motion menus though you are still restricted to the same
length of the motion menu.
Even commercials dvd's loop for a short period that have motion menus.
Must be in the dvd spec.

Oh, I understand about the length of the motion menus, I was just wondering if there was a way to keep the backgound music playing when the moion menus loop, like it does with static menus.
Another question on motion menus though. I guess I made the false aasumption that upgrading from MF3 to MF4 would give me control over where the motion menu clip would start. Looks like it always starts at the beginning, even if that isn't really what would make an interesting motion menu.
Seems odd you can pick the snapshot you want for static menus, but you're stuck with no selection when going to motion.
