storyboard to timeline

Hi all,
one thing i have not figured yet is how to go straight from a clip on the storyboard straight to the same one on the timeline....most times i have to slide across to the location on the timeline...any ideas?

Hi.

I'm finding that I can be playing the video in Storyboard mode, then click on the Timeline and the scene freezes and switches to Timeline mode. But if I click the Go arrow then, it picks up right at the same point.

Doesn't this work for you? Or did you want uninterrupted play?

Hi keith,
sorry, i'm not talking about while they are playing, but when i press on a clip in storyboard and it goes red...i switch to timeline and that chosen clip is not there...i have to scroll to the location...

Select a clip in the storyboard view

Switch to timeline view.

Select project playback ( the word 'project' adjacent to the play button)

Click the center of the Jog Bar slider under the preview window.
