pasting large amount of text into title.

Everytime I try to paste more then a few lines of text into a title on X2 Pro the program freezes. Does anyone know if there is a limitation as to how much text you can paste at one time or is this a bug?
I am trying to create a star wars like credit roll and have already typed the text into a notpad and would hate to have to type it again.
Any help would be apprecitated.
Thanks in advance.

Adding a perspective scroll title effect <-- Click here
Ever wondered how to make the perspective scroll title effect just like the ones in your favorite sci-fi movies? With VideoStudio, you can achieve Hollywood-like title effects in just several easy-to-follow steps, just like in the movies!
Thanks for the link

However, that does not answer the question I asked. I know how to make the effect. I was asking how to get a large amount of text into the text box without haveing to re-type. I have it word so that I can be proofed and spell checked so I do not want to re-type it.
Thanks anyway

Hi Robert
As far as know there is no limitation as to the amount of text inserted to a title.
Using the trial VS X2
Just tried with 300+ words, the program stopped responding, (not sure if this is a problem with my pc)
With a bit of patience the program started responding, text inserted ok.
Not an ideal situation.
Tried with 75 words ok, 125 failed but loaded eventually.
Tried the same using VS 10, no problems with 300+ words.
Maybe others using the full version can see if they have problems with paste to titles.
Robert, If you are still having problems, e-mail the Notepad TXT file and I will create the title.

Maybe Robert is experiencing the same lag as you Trevor, but may not have waited long enough for it to complete. Maybe Robert can give it another try.

Maybe, but using VS 12 the program actually stops responding, as shown via windows task manager.
VS 10 just has a short delay, normal with video studio.

Yes, but I thought you said it finally did respond then the text inserted ok. If that is the case maybe Robert saw it was not responding and terminated VS before it had a chance to re-respond.

Pardon me for having never actually used Video Studio, and for opening the User Guide only long enough to copy some text into Notepad and replicate it several times to simulate a long, long, boring, scrollable title, but . . .
Is the text converted to a bitmap graphic, and is the maximum (vertical) height available for Titles, including text overlay, limited to 32,768 pixels, clipped to 32,000 pixels as in PhotoImpact? Or is something else in play here?
Sorry to be so far behind the curve, but I haven't quite gotten around to digging in to Video Studio 11+ yet and thought that this might be as good a place to jump in as any, right at the start of the potential movie. I see that the Title page defaulted to 720x480, so that would be a bunch of scrolling at that resolution. (32,000/480 = 66 pages worth?) The number of lines of text possible under that scenario would depend on Font size, but could also be limited to some quantity of characters, such as 2048 or 4096, spaces and punctuation included.
3256, the number of characters I pasted in, according to OpenOffice.org writer. 476 words. 129 paragraphs.
