x2 can't read swf files?????????

I have just installed VS ProX2 and am trying to open the sample ntsc video from vs11. When I try to relink all the motion.swf files, it tells me there is a format incompatibility. I find it hard to believe that vs ProX2 can't read shockwave flash (SWF) files. Is there any plugins to install, or what can I do about this. There are lots of great swf files in the bonus content from previous vs versions.
