I've prepared a slideshow on my PC and burned it on a DVD. However, when I insert the DVD into my player, it won't start and the player keeps on mentioning "loading". Strange thing is that half way the project, I burned a DVD-RW, just to see what it looked like, and it worked fine (and still does)!
Might there be any settings that I need to check or adjust, before I start the burning process?

Did you try burning another blank DVD (just in case the problem lies with the DVD with the "loading" error) didn't get created correctly?
Another thought. You might try checking the box labeled "enable buffer underrun protection". It is found in the options link (bottom left) of the BURN tab/page.
