Happy to report success in registering CVSPx2 just now. Shows up in my list of products just as it should. BTW this copy was a $44.95 purchase from Shop N Roll referenced in another topic on this Forum.

Didn't like to admit it before but I too was a customer of shopnroll.--- " A fool & his money etc"
Howevever, like Thomas I have now managed a successful registration !!!
But, & it's a fairly big "But", although my splash screen shows X2Pro the registration has come up as standard !
Also the download only gave me access to the main progam file of around 170 Mb. So how do I get to the bonus packs?
Thomas, how does this square with your experience ?
Any other comments/help would be much appreciated.

FWIW, I purchased my X2 Pro straight from Corel, and when viewing My Products it shows my registration is for the standard version. I think everyone just needs to be patient until Corel figures it out.

avpeterjohn -- my registration is "standard" as Black Lab reports his is also; think his advice of patience with Corel is reasonable.
As to the product download from ShopNRoll, I got the 3 download files, but it took a little effort to figure out their download link structure. Here's what I got, check your link and see if yours are there too:
got download link as:
.../CorelVideoStudioProX2/CorelVideoStudioProX2/ESDVSPRX2IEPCPF.exe
this is the main program installer file; to get the other two, move up a folder in the link, i.e.:
.../CorelVideoStudioProX2/
to find the other 2 folders:
.../CorelVideoStudioProX2/CorelVideoStudioProX2ContentPack/
.../CorelVideoStudioProX2/CorelVideoStudioProX2BonusPack/
these contain the 2 other installer files
Hope your link has these for you as mine did.

Well success at last. I have been able to register my X2 Ultimate upgrade today using online registration from within X2.
My account now shows that I have Ulead VideoStudio 12 Standard as registered. It would appear I am not the only one to experiance this. As previously advised in an earlier post my account does show VS Ultimate Eng Upg Asia as registered on 17/9/08, but with no Serial Number alongside it.
A phone call today to Manilla via their Sydney office concerning the reference to "Standard" version elicits the response of no problems with Standard being shown as we know you have the Ultimate version and it is shown on your account even if it does not show the Serial Number.
It would appear then that Corel have fixed their registration database problem. Apparently the reference to ULead and not Corel is because VS was originally from ULead and is still branded as such!. Well that's what they told me. In any event, I am happy that my X2 (ver 12) is registered.
I might just add that the people I have spoken to in Manilla have been most courteous and helpful when discussing the matter.
