What is Ulead AutoDetector?
I've downloaded the trial version of Movie Maker 4 Disc Creator. This is running in my system tray. The only thing "in it" is the Quick Drop. Thanks.

What 2log wrote is part of the answer.
In DVD MovieFactory, Ulead AutoDetector is also been used to detect if a blank disk is been inserted to the burner. If the disk is been inserted, Ulead AutoDetector will bring up Ulead Quick-Drop to let you do some burning tasks.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
I think everyone should read this file from the MF4 installation. Depends on what distribution the program comes with as to which application to auto-launch which is programable anyway.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead Systems\AutoDetector\Autodetector.chm
When the "AutoLauncher" program executes it installs the executable file called "Monitor" which is located in the following directory.
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead systems\AutoDetector\
(AutoLauncher is the executable file "Monitor").
To stop the program from running in resident memory "Right_Click" on the icon in the taskbar(right-side) and select "Close". This will remove the program from resident memory and stop running.
To keep the program in memory but disable select "Disable"
and
To remove the "Ulead AutoLauncher" from starting up when windows starts perform the following:
Right-Click on the icon on the taskbar. Select "Options". On the bottom left of the next screen uncheck "Run AutoDetector when Windows Starts up".
The experienced users know this but people new to ulead should read this.
Like the link that Steve provided.
Hope this helps,
MD
