Welcome to the forums,

Sorry no one has replied before now....

Your source video clips are what form of avi? There are literally hundreds of various video formats (codecs) that use avi as a carrier or wrapper. Such as DivX, Xvid, DV, and many more.

I just had a quick test with VS11.5+, and it had no problems using MPEG Audio Layer-2 for the audio, along with DivX6.8...

By the screenshot you provided it is obvious that you're using Vista, so check the following path for the MPEG folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead Systems\MPEG, which should contain 70 files. This is where Ulead (Corel) stores the MPEG codecs.

In VS11.5 + this is what should be available. I used the same video clip as you have loaded, the same codec (DivX) and the audio codecs available are:

I would suspect a corrupt or faulty install of VS. You can also download a free codec checker like Sherlock or G-Spot which will check what codecs you have installed, and if any are broken.

thanks guys for replying the mpeg layer 2 and 3 was working before i install the new asus motherboard and when i installed it i formated the C drive and installed new and clean version of windows vista and installed all the devices and installed VS and this problem happened i thought that the vista is corrupted and i formated again and installed it again and the same problem happened with VS for times

by the way my MPEG folder contains only 46 files not 70 !!!!!

i checked all the codecs that is installed on my pc and i found like 3 mpeg layers decoders :S:S and there's also another problem that when i install divx audio codec the audio format doesn't recognize it! :!:

It's not necessary to continually bump your own post. When someone comes up with a possible solution they will post it!!

Have you tried re-installing VS? As I mentioned I suspected a faulty install of it.
and there's also another problem that when i install divx audio codec the audio format doesn't recognize it! Exclamation
Is this from the DivX Pro package? If so then it's an issue for DivX not Corel/VS.

Have you installed any CODEC Packs ? These can wreak havoc with codecs that you already have installed.

no the divx audio isn't included in the divx pro package and i installed K-lite codec pack and another codec for the DVB-S program

As Ron has alluded to, codec packs often cause more harm than good. Try uninstalling the codec pack and see what happens.
