Fresh-caught PSP X2 Plus-No Question

Post by Larry4511 »

Just an experimental message to see how it goes, mostly to see if the 'system' button was part of the message entry. It seems not to be, so I guess it is to be done first, copied to the clipboard, then pasted in.

I have had PSP installed for about two weeks, but haven't had much time to play with it yet. My first impressions are that it is much easier and more flecible to use than my Adobe products, especially the script recording.

I am presently defining shortcuts to do the ordinary work I do with my pictures, such as rotating, fixing, adjusting, etc. I like being able to copy the keyboard mapped key definitions to my text processor (The SemWare Editor) where I can put similar commands together with similar keys. This is a GREAT help!

As I move along, I will be trying to create scripts that can handle large chunks of the 30,000 or so family photos at a time. Resizing and framing are part of it, but I also hope to be able to figure out how to insert or attach captions to each image to include information about the image, such as the filename, as well as other particulars about each image.

One approach I have thought about to accomplish this is to 'create' a blank image just for text from a real text file, then merge the text image to the image it applies to into one image.

Anyway, PSP certainly looks like the program I want to use to do this. Wish me luck!

See ya.
