You may be aware that the original documentation for ther release of VS9 stated that it would include Cool 3-D 3.5 SE but was shipped or downloaded with 3.0 SE. This documentation has mysteriuosly disaaperared from the Ulead site and replaced with documentation stating it comes with 3.0 SE The following link is for the original documentation.

Just to add to that you would think at the very least they could have posted a reason for it's removal. Is it a fake maybe Nope it's a PDF. So what's your thoughts on this Ulead? Inquiring minds want to know.

I don't think anybody wants anything for nothing here. We all paid good money to Ulead and ofcourse expect to get what is advertised. In this case it was clearly stated that version 3.5SE was included... so I don't see why anybody here should "cut them slack", this case is not arbitrairy in any way.

Yes, a thread was definitely removed. Which shouldn't happen on a user-to-user board. If Ulead wants to start controlling content, they should start participating in the discussions.

Yes, in some senses this is a fairly trivial argument.

Yes, for most VS9 users, C3D (of any flavour) is an inclusion they will never use -- and for those people this issue is moot.

But yes, there are some of us who saw C3D 3.5SE advertised (and it's still being advertised in some contexts: the Australian launches, for example). And some of us who have seen the advertising want what was advertised -- there is useful incremental functionality.

It's a pretty simple point, really.

And it's an issue that will COST Ulead NOTHING to fix -- just a web link sent to the few who have bothered to follow up.
