Why does Scenalyzer capture and VS12 does not? JVC PV-GS320

Post by PeterG »

Hi all,

I have recently purchased and installed VS12.

I have a JVC PV-GS320 video camera.

I cannot capture videos using VS12 capture, but I can use ScenalyzerLive to capture. I'm using firewire btw.

I've searched but cannot find what I am missing for VS12.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Peter

PV-GS320 I thought was the model number for Panasonic camcorders?

Does VS 12 recognise your camera at all? Make sure your camera is set to "play" mode.

Thanks Clevo, you are correct, it is the Panasonic I am referring to.

Yes, VS does recognize the camera. But it will not show video or give sound in capture mode. Basically I just have a blank screen in capture mode. I can press play on screen, etc. But the counter does not advance. All other controls respond as well, like stop, fast forward etc.

Thanks again,

Peter
