Library manager headacke

Post by stelch »

Hi
I wanted to capture in a new video Library so I have created one with the Library Organiser. So before capturing I activated my newly created library and started capturing. When I finished, instead of the video clips to be shown in the new library they all went to the default one. Why is that? Anyone else had this problem with VideoStudio xpro?

I wouldn't know. I work with a hard drive camcorder.

Perhaps you can choose for NOT saving the clips to the library while capturing. Then after the capturing drag them to the desired library.

I have never heard of this problem either. I assume you have the new library selected before you start capturing.

Another alternative is to copy them from the default library and paste them to the new one.

Jeff, Yes I have selected the new library before capturing but when I finish it puts all the clips into the default one. Its the first time that it happens to me, never had this with older versions.

Well guys I found what the problem was. Its not really a problem, in the Capture Step you have to set the capture library in the Options settings. That's it.
