Pro X2 - Using both title tracks, automating zooms & pa

Post by WestbrookNH »

Just bought a copy of Pro X2

I was able to get both title tracks to appear in the VideoStudio editor. I want to do one title track in Engllish, and another in Italian, saying the same things in both languages.

The idea is for the resulting DVD to have selectable subtitles, one for each language.

Does anybody know how to do this?

Also, in making a slide show with many hundreds of images, is there a way to automate pans and zooms on the images?

Thanks!

The title tracks are just that, title tracks. They are not selectable tracks independant of each other.

But thanks for taking the time to answer.

I think there's a link in here somewhere about how to automate pans and zooms. I'll have to go looking for it.

Please view:
Create Subtitles with VS11+ for use in MF6+ (Video)

From this you will see that they are not proper subtitle tracks - selectable with a remote control. The method I outline above does enable you to create ONE selectable subtitle track but you will need both VideoStudio (For creation) and MovieFactory (To Author)

Thanks, Steve.

I have Movie Factory v2 SE. If that won't work, I'll probably have to get a more recent version.

Steve, GREAT instructional video, but it only shows how to get the subtitles to turn on and off from the remote. It doesn't show how you can have more than one set of subtitles.

Unless I'm missing something, which would not be out of the ordinary for me.

Thanks for your patience, Steve.

I guess reading for comprehension is not one of my strong suits.
