Corel Video ProX2 clips-music disappears

Hi Colleagues,
I am using Corel Video Pro X2. While I am editing clips inserted in overlay and music cxlips disappear while I am working on it.
It happened several times, any suggestions?
Clips are in AVI.

We need some more details. Right click on your AVI clips and post the properties. Please do the same for your audio clips.
What are you doing "while working on it"?

I was just in the editing mode, adding effects, adding music.
I just loaded a mpg project in the timeline and suddenly it was gone while I was skipping through the scenes.
Very strange ,

That is strange. Your clip properties certainly don't look out of the ordinary. Has this happened repeatedly, or was it a one time occurance?

Hi jeff,
it happened several times while I was working on my project.
As said today I loaded today an MPG project (55 minutes), captured from my DVD, and suddenly it was completed goen from the timeline??
,
so I am wondering what is the root cause.
