Text Duration

Thanks for listening,

Can not change the duration for my text.
I can type text but, it disappers in 2 seconds.

No numbers are shown in the text duration window, the arrows on the right are grayed out,
every time I click to where the numbers should be, it's still blank, no cursor.

I've had MF SE3 before so, I know there should be a way to change the duration.
