I am running out of the box photoimpact 10 on an XP system, (I also purchased the photoimpact x3 which has the same problem), I encountered a problem where the program starts however when I shut it down it closes but is still running in the background if I attempt to reopen the program it tells me that "another user is using this application" and it does not start. If I shut it down via task manager it will re-open. I have done three clean reinstall and tried just about every solution posted on these boards and on the Corel knowledge base nothing has worked so far.
I only have one user which is the administrator, I even tried creating a new profile but get the same message. I disabled all other programs including Norton but the same error. This only started a about a week ago.
Another user is using this application
This problem is also affection my x3
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
I need to fix this problem so that I can use my x3 because it is also affecting that program also.
