VS X2 and Canon HV10 HDV capture

Post by Alexey »

Hello,

May be I don't understand something, but I cannot split my video by scenes when capturing from Canon HV10 camcoder in HDV mode.

Yes, I couldn't do it in my VS 11+, but I decided there is a bug in my system or HDV was a bit "new" for Ulead that time so they haven't implement this basic feature...

But now I have the same on a new machine with the fresh Vista SP1 and VS X2.

Should I "tweak" VS X2/Vista/Drivers somehow? Or this feature is not available in X2 for HDV at all?

It was not a bug in VS 11.5+ and, though I haven't yet tested it, probably deliberately not in X2 either, though I am not sure why... It never worked with AVCHD video either.. Anyway, while annoying, it is not a biggie for me since I use the small freeware program HDVSplit, which works just fine with HDV...
