Pro Bonus Pack

Just had to uninstall/reinstall VS x2 due to a problem with FXBench.

After installing X2 the first time, I installed the Pro Content Pack and checked out the additional resource content in the program and there was plenty of new things. I then installed Pro Bonus Pack and when I started the program again, could not see any additional items in resources - Video, images, etc.

I did the same this time with the same results, so I looked at the folder 'VS-Installation BCD Files' which was created when I ran the 'VSX2ProBonusPack_6in1' file, and discovered the following folders and subfolders:

Audio - Animal, Cartoon, Electronic, Gun, Machine, Music, People, Rain, Ring, Sound, Sports, Traffic
Image - Background Image, Frame, Object, Theater Background
Video- 3D Video, Introduction Video, Sample Video

All of these sub folders contain different resources. None of the items in these folders appear in the resource section of X2. They haven't been installed anywhere that I can find.

Am I supposed to just add in these resources myself?

The bonus content is not installed. If you choose you want to use them, you must copy and paste them into a folder on your system.

Thanks Ron.
It's a shame there isn't any obvious instructions about that included.

It has been this way with all of the versions of VideoStudio I own - starting with VS8.

There is FAR more of this extra content in VSX2 than any previous version.
To save keep recreating VideoStudio Libraries with extra content I simply carry the old one over to the new:
Copy Templates and Libraries from VS11 to VSX2
Similarly
Copy Transitions (Burger / Boris etc) from VS11 to VSX2
You can also do the same thing with filters and the vft folder.

VSX2 has a new feature that searches your hard drives for suitable material and places thumbnails in video/audio and image folders in a new library
"Windows media library". I have found that to populate the library you need to leave the program open overnight with one of those libraries selected.
The following night repeat the process with another one selected, then again for the third one.
