Just upgraded to PI X3
I can't seem to get a decent cartoon effect?
The closest I can get is contrast polarize then ink, as the cartoon effect really hasn't changed.
Is there a couple of steps anyone uses to get more to the actual cartoon look?
I've used PI since 6 so I am fairly familiar with the effects.
We just had a family reunion and I thought it'd be fun to send back a couple of cartoons along with the real images, but I'm not getting the result I'd like.

Did you try using the cartoon effect from Menu, Effect, Artistic, Cartoon and then adjust the necessary settings to suit.
I will admit, the settings aren't the greatest but this is what I produced changing a few settings.
