Lumiere is video editing program, which contains paint shop pro!

You need to input an installation code of 3 digits followed by 10 digits, that is on the cover of the CD case cover. And I have lost the cover!

I doubt that anyone here is going to be able to help you. I am not even sure which program you are talking about... If it is Corel Lumiere, as far as I am aware that program disappeared 8 or 9 years ago. It is certainly not covered on this Board, and in any case, this Board has nothing to do with serial numbers or keys. You would need to contact Corel direct for that...

There is a more recent Lumiere, I understand, dating from around 2003, though I think that may have been a Mac program, and I am pretty sure not connected to Corel at all.

1. Lumiere Video Studio is competitive to Corel VideoStudio. You cannot realistically expect an answer here. The fact that it comes bundled with a Ulead graphics editor is not material.

2. Forum rules forbid anyone publishing a product key/serial number

3. I suggest you contact the publishers of this software.

I could only find one article talking about Corel Lumiere. According to the article it was released in 1997. If you registered the program with Corel, there may be a slight chance they have the serial number recorded. However since the program is such an old one, thate may be dated earlier than the web site, they probably don't.

To check you need to go to http://corel.com, log-in and select the link View Your Products.

Is it this program?

Or this one?

If not, then there is nothing we can do to help you...

Is it still on the market? And if so, is it clear whether it is a continuation of the original ancient Corel program from the 1990's (when it used to compete with early versions of MSP!!) Or is it the later Lumiere HD which I think was made by a company called IMSI or something like that...?

Well as I stated in my previous post, that program was released over 10 yrs ago, and has long since been dropped from Corel's programs. You need to contact Corel, and I'm afraid that they no longer support it...

Couldn't help much with a serial number but I have spotted one that seems fairly cheap on Ebay

US $4.00

I don't normally suggest places like ebay but as it is a "collectors item" you're looking for it may be worth considering. Bear in mind the dangers of purchasing from places like Ebay which you do at your own risk. Neither I or the forum accept any liability if things go wonky.
