VideoStudio X2 to Iphone? Please Help

Post by rajeev28 »

Hi there, I just got the newest version of Video Studio.

So there is a feature, export to mobile device
Now, is this directly to the phone or in the HDD and then sync? Also, it talks about we can import iphone format - now is this the same concept! iphone to HDD to Ulead?

Coz when I press export to Mobile Device, I only get this option

Now, when I see device..I assume there should be room for more right; I mean why have export to mobile when I can do same from create video file and make for mpeg-4?

Question # 2

There is make movie template manager, can I use this for capturing as well?

My point is, I want to capture directly in iphone format, is that possible

Welcome to the forums,

I'm guessing as I've not tried using this feature. I use my cellphone, and I don't own an iPhone, to make calls, not watching videos....;)

I think that this would be a direct to type of transfer. You need to have your iphone connected to your PC for VS to see and transfer to it. It seems very much like transferring DV video back to the camcorder. If the device is not connected to your PC, then VS will not allow it, or be able to access it.

As far as capturing to iPhone format, again I'm not sure. But have you tried connecting your iPhone to your PC and capturing with VS? I don't think it will work that way. The feature is more for sending your compositions created in VS to your iPhone...
