The Painting Creator feature in VS X2 is a good innovation, but perhaps you guys haven't seen VisiSketch Pro? It was originally designed for use with slideshows of stills made with Photodex ProShow, but obviously can be used with other software. Should be able to be used with VS too.

It's a little more advanced and should be very useful. I have played with it a little a few months ago, but haven't created anything worthwhile yet.
