Does anyone know why after inserting a wav file in the voice track or audio track it will be sound like a very loud noise. The wav file I have inserted has been resulted from Digital Juice rendering, it has 8seconds long and I have tryed both format wav and aiff; please note that in winamp it sound ok, also played separate in VS11+ sound ok.

Note: if inserted the same sound fx as aiff in the voice track, it occupy the entire space in time, and in the timecode counter (the one just under the Cut button) figure a time of -8:08:39:24, even in the reality it has only 8 seconds. I can insert mp3's without any problems.

Many thanks

I use DJ all the time and have not had this problem. Right click on the WAV file and list the properties here.

I have just found the trick: the default settings are 24bits for the Bit Depth and 96KHz for the Sample Rate but for me has to be 16bits and 48KHz. Now it sounds good. Why?
Thanks Jeff.

I'm not sure why your default was for 96kHz. I always use the default settings and mine are 48kHz.

Glad you got it sorted out. 8)
