First make sure you have Video Studio 11.

Just out of curiosity...where did you download this from?

Is it the trial version or did you buy it?

You bought it from whom?

The new version X2 has been out for about a week. You can't purchase v11 anymore from Corel.

No need to shout. We are asking these questions to try to determine a solution to your problem. And you answer is contradictory to your subject line.

Somthing like this has come up before in this thread:

http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic.php?p=73434

The warning message seems to indicate an attempt to circumnavigate the end of a trial period or it could also mean you need to make sure you have all your windows updates installed.

If you bought it from a shop then it must be on a disc? If you bought it from a download on an internet shop and you are sure your windows is fully updated then perhaps there is something wrong and it may be the right thing to do and get a refund and buy it from Corel instead

"The security information is invalid or has been modified. This program will be terminated"
This message normally appears in one of two (similar) situations.

1. A 30 day free trial has been downloaded and the computer thinks that an attempt to extend the 30 day period has been made.
This can of course occur innocently such as you turned your computer off but you had a dead motherboard battery and then when you restarted the computer the system date was incorrect and so the computer thinks this was an attempt to extend the 30 days!

2. A pirated serial number has been entered or an attempt was made to alter a critical file which is a part of the licensing system.
