Pro X2 VS 12

Hi again,
Have spent almost the entire day to come full circle on previous issues.
Managed to rid the machine of VS11 prior to a new complete down load of Pro X2 VS12, + the bonus bundle and the huge X2 content pack.
I managed to capture the old analogue VHS tape, no worries edit and all.
Everything looked great and was very pleasing all up.
However when I attempted to go thru "Share" to burn to DVD the program hung then just died with the usual old message.
I was going on the assumption that there may have been a corrupted file in the original download, hence the new exe file download, not so.
I tried capture without the GREX device and also USB Easycap.
I captured with the ASUS Pci TV capture card on board. (composite setup)
There are no obvious problems with any capture. All configurations
The final attempt I made was to go thru"share" and create a video file
After thinking about that command VS12 started to render.
I have not had previous problems with any other version I had (except VS11 which came up unexpectedly and for no apparent reason) with error messages about the Ulead*.msi file.
(M/soft jargon)with reference to MS Office?
I would love to be able to solve this shut down problem and appreciate any comments in this regard. Also a sincere thanks to moderators who took the time to give me some other avenues to think about.
Thanks
Ian.
