strange problem when creating disc

Hi.
I have a strange problem when creating a dvd in ulead movie factory 6.
When movie factory starts to compress my dvd, it gets to 17%, and that's it. It just wont go any further. No errors, no crashes, just nothing. But it still using cpu-power.

Any ideas?

The sourcefiles are WMV format (I _know_ that is a bad idea in the first place, but don't mind that) and i'm creating a PAL disc.

With MF6 I had this problem every once in a while. Changing the burning speed might help.
