I applied the patch. I still get the same jumps with transitions and with titles. This is with Sony SR-11 AVCHD video.

I have stopped using VSX2 Pro since it grossly messes up my AVCHD content. The patch is not the solution.

A bug of this serious nature should have been dealt with a long time ago.

There are other, truly excellent AVCHD editing programs out there which do Smart Rendering correctly. Nero 8/9 Ultimate (NeroVision) and Cyberlink Power Director 7 Ultra consistently have delivered exceptionally clean, very fast, smart rendered AVCHD video for me for many months m now. VSX2Pro just sits on the machine but I have even removed the program icon from my desktop......

It's really a shame. I have owned Video Studio since it was first introduced manuy years ago, and have purchased virtually every upgrade as it became available.

Somebody has really dropped the ball here......

I don't know which camcorder is the source for your AVCHD files, but I'm using the Sony SR11, and it is my understanding from posts at the AVS-Forums that Cyberlink Power Director 7 is unable to import the Dolby 5-1 sound, but instead "downgrades" it to 2-channel stereo.

Is this your experience as well?
