Extra Content for Video Studio 12

Post by Rascal »

I am trying the trial version of VS 12, and impressed with it so far. Is there a 'Bonus Disc' available if I upgrade to this version? I would like some extra DVD Menu templates as I understand that the ones I use in VS11.5 are not transferrable.

Think the BONUS material will only install with the registered FULL version.

The registered version:

174MB Main prog (same as trial)
231MB Bonus Pack
436MB Pro Content pack

If you download the Ultimate version, which I have just done, you get one huge ZIP file of around 1.5 GB, which contains everything. I imagine the Pro and standard versions are the same, only smaller. I have just counted the available menu templates, and there are 97 in all, which is a fair bit higher than those in VS11.5+. As far as I could see, all the ones in VS11.5+ are there, but there are also some new ones.

As has been stated elsewhere, the Ultimate version is identical to the Pro version, but comes with WinDVD 9, Corel DVDCopy 6 and Steinberg Wave Lab 6. The standard version doesn't come with many of the bells and whistles of the other two.

Accolades -- is that the Pro version? And did it come in three separate packs, or as I described for Ultimate in one big ZIP file?

Please view:
MF5/MF6/VS9 /VS10: Share Menus, Transitions between products

The procedure is the same - you just need to alter the path names.

After buying VS X2, the installation went well and I then installed the Bonus content pack. I started the program and had a look for extra content and was pleased with the amount of extra stuff in the resources.
I then installed the Pro content pack and had another look at the resources and there doesn't seem to be anything extra in the resources.

In the folder structure of the Corel section of program files there are some images/masks that have not shown up in the resource window. Perhaps there are other resources as well, I didn't look at anything else.

Am I missing something I should have done?
Ormond.
