I have a Gateway PC brand new with AMD Phenom Triple Processor 2.10Ghz with 4GB of Ram and ATI Radeon HD3200 graphics. Vista Home Premium OS Ver 6.0 Build 6001 SP1. When I edit my home video it freezes every now and then and I have to go to Task Manger and close the program and reopen it. I have to save after every change because I don't know when it will freeze again. In a One Hour editing duration it froze about 7 times. One time I had to reboot the system because it wouldn't open VS. I have a Panasonic Camcorder PV-GS59. I capture using DV. These are the particulars of the video:

I downloaded the Vista patch from Ulead. Hope you can help to get VS10 Plus working normally on my new PC. It worked great under XP.

I know you might feel frustrated that no one has provided anything useful.
