Not very nice postings

Post by ibbotson »

We seem to be getting some un-wanted posting on the site. There's always someone who wants to ruin things.

If you are talking about the porn spam, we try to remove them as soon as they appear. But we are all volunteers here, and cannot be on watch 24 hours a day -- though we try!!!

Ken...I'm not knocking you. It's the people that are posting them who are the problem.

Yeah, I've been deleting more porn-spam lately. But, I don't really know if it's really getting worse or if it's just happening at a different time of day and I happen to see it before the other moderators...

Usually, the spammer posts once and is then banned. (They probably sign-up again with a different user name.)

Overall, we have a great group of people here! Our regular members are generaly decent, polite, and respectful. I almost never have to "moderate" or edit a post from a real Corel user! Even when people are very angry or dissapointed with Corel, we rarely see foul language or anything else that needs to be edited or deleted.
