Just wondering if anyone has any examples of the Newblue film effects in the new videostudio x2??? I had a quick look at examples on the Newblue site but the examples they have a re very short and don't show the effect too well. From what I can see though, they may be very very useful and of a good quality.

If you download the trial version you can play with these effects.

I find them very impressive. Example: Making a night shot from your day shot is a one click solution. There are some great film look effects in it. Really cool and usable. Only these effects are already worth the upgrade IMO. I love the extra title track and the adding of transitions in the other videotracks.

I won't be working with Mediastudio pro anymore. In fact I deleted it from my harddrive. I like the way Videostudio is developing.

I'll just wait a few days till the problems with the serial numbers are solved before upgrading.

Good morning all. I downloaded the trial version last night and I was well impressed.....and all I've checked out so far is the Newblue film effects.....all I can say about these is WOW :o These will certainly be extremely useful for many of my video projects.....I can see it being used in parts of wedding videos, for one thing. The amount of customization and presets is immense and the fact that this plug-in costs $160 when bought on it's own makes the upgrade or full purchase of VS X2 a bargain!!! Can't wait to check out all the new features. I don't my Media Studio Pro will see the light of day ever again!!! I'll certainly be purchasing this new program. Congrats to all who worked on this new update. Oh, the ability of change the size of different parts of the GUI is a real boon....I often found that the video preview was way too small.

I agree Graham. I played around with them last night. Many, many presents, and all of them are customizable. :D

Currently using VS10+, but look forward to upgrading to 12

if the negative posts don't blossom before my 30 trial run on 12 expires. Since I never used 11+ I can see that the ability to view all 'tracks' without have to scroll down the screen is a basic but very useful improvement. 10+ has worked really well for me, but since I usually skip every other version in upgrading most anything, I will hope for the best in your early adopters during the next month.
