My boss has installed DVD-MF 4 for Sanyo on a vista PC, which is causing a number of problems. I have tried to un-install with the control panel but DVD-MF responds with a version on DVD-MF is already installled please un-install first.
I have tried running the install from the CD as suggested elsewhere in this forum, but I get the same error.
Can anyone suggest a way of un-installing the program?
TIA
Peter

Welcome to the forums,
I'm just grabbing at straws here, as so far I've been lucky with installing older, non-Vista certified software on Vista. Those are limited to recent versions. This is just one reason not to install older software on Vista.
I first would try shutting off the security features of Vista, like User Account Control, and the Malware Protection. This may be causing this problem with the installer.
You might also try searching the Microsoft website for a possible solution..
